Home Visits

Doctor's bagWhilst we encourage our patients to come to the surgery, where we have the proper equipment and facilities available, we do appreciate this is not always possible. In this respect, please telephone before 10:30 and give a brief indication of your problem to the reception staff. They will pass a message on to the triage nurse or doctor who will then contact you. Please remember to leave the best contact telephone number and tell the Receptionist when you will be available.

Home visits are normally only made if you are housebound or too ill to visit the practice. Your GP will visit you at home if your medical condition requires it.

You can also be visited at home by a Community Nurse (sometimes called District Nurse) if you are referred by your GP.  You may also be visited at home by a Health Visitor if you have recently had a baby or are newly registered with a GP and have a child under five years of age.
